What is a Rodent?

Why are rodents a problem?

First – Inspection
We will perform a property inspection, during which we will look for signs of rodent activity. Each species has indicators that help us identify them specifically. Then, we look for entry points where they may be accessing your home or business. Based on all of that information, we will determine how large the infestation is to determine the severity of the issue.
Second – Plan
Once we have a full grasp of the infestation, we will create a plan for rodent control and eliminate the pests that have been plaguing your property. Each plan will consist of some of the following elements:
- Sealing the entry points like cracks, holes and gaps found in the walls, doors or foundation of your home/business. Other entry points are roof vents and pipes or door sweeps.
- Trapping the rodents may be desired. We have traps that can terminate the rodent or trap it so it can be safely re-located. Because of our expertise, we know where to place these traps for maximum effectiveness.
- Poisoning or baiting may be part of the plan that we create together. This is generally the most effective way to control an infestation. After bait or poison is placed, follow up visits will ensure that bait is replaced and that continued control is in hand.
- Long-term prevention will include regular pest control services on your property to ensure the food or water source for these rodents is eliminated.
Third – Eliminate
Now that we know what we’re dealing with, and we have a plan, we will jump right on the issue and eliminate these pests asap. We will schedule your first and subsequent treatments based on the plan that we develop together.
Fourth – Monitor
During our subsequent visits, we check our progress and make the necessary adjustments to ensure proper pest control for your environment. Bait boxes may be placed around your property and will be re-stocked during the regularly scheduled visits.
Warranty
Our warranty for rodent control is that we will control the population of the targeted rodents to an extent that we will discuss with you prior to beginning treatment. We will consult with you and provide the information you need to assist with this prevention as much as possible, but permanent eradication is difficult in the desert of Arizona. We do have ongoing services we can provide to continue to control the population.
